Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms are an agreement between you and NebulaMap Advisory, a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada ("we", "us", "our"), which operates NebulaMap / 星圖命理 (the "Service"). By using the Service or purchasing a report, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service is, entertainment only

The Service computes a Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數) chart from the birth details you provide and produces a written guidance report. The report is for self-reflection and entertainment only ("僅供參考"). It is not, and must not be relied on as, medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and it does not give a deterministic or guaranteed prediction for any health condition, exam or academic outcome, investment, or legal matter. For example, the study/exam-luck reading describes tendencies and does not guarantee a result, and the home/property reading addresses timing and suitability only and is never investment advice. You are solely responsible for any decision you make. For decisions with real consequences, consult a qualified professional.

3. AI-generated content

The written analysis is produced using artificial intelligence applied to your computed chart. AI output can contain errors, omissions, or statements that are not accurate, and results are inherently interpretive. We do not warrant that the report is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Do not treat any statement in the report as a prediction of fact.

4. Eligibility

You must be of the age of majority where you live (or have the consent of a parent or guardian) to use the Service. The Service is available only in selected markets and may not be available in all regions.

5. Your submissions

You confirm that the birth details and any other information you submit are accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are entitled to submit them. If you submit information about another person, you represent and warrant that you have that person's consent and the authority to provide their information. If that person is a minor, you represent and warrant that you are their parent or legal guardian and have the legal authority to consent to the processing of their information on their behalf. You are solely responsible for obtaining any consent required, and you accept liability for any submission made without it.

6. Accounts

A free report needs no account. If you purchase a paid report, you may optionally sign in with an email-based account to keep it, ask follow-up questions against it, and manage any coupons or follow-up-question credits you hold. Accounts are passwordless: there is no password to create or remember, we never store one, and signing in works by emailing you a one-time link. You are responsible for keeping access to the email address your account is tied to. You may delete any single saved report, or your entire account, at any time from your account page; deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

7. Reports and links

Each report is reachable through a private link containing an unguessable identifier; anyone holding that link can view the report, so keep it private. A free report is automatically deleted after 7 days (see the Privacy Policy), after which the link will no longer work, unless you have used or purchased a Follow-up Question on it, in which case it is instead retained until you delete it, like a paid report. A paid report kept under an account is retained until you delete it. If you opt in, we may send occasional marketing emails to the address you provide; you can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email. Some emails (your report link, your account sign-in link, and coupon grant or expiry notices) are sent because they are necessary to the Service you asked for and do not depend on that marketing opt-in.

8. Coupons and follow-up-question credits

We may grant a promotional discount coupon to an eligible email address (for example for a newsletter opt-in, a report rating left with a comment, or an upgrade offer). A coupon is a discount off one specific future purchase and is never stored monetary value: it is not a gift card, wallet, or prepaid balance, has no cash redemption value, cannot be transferred to anyone else, is single-use, is tied to the email address it was granted to, and expires a set number of days after it is granted. A Royal or Imperial report includes a number of follow-up-question credits: credits included with a purchase expire 90 days after they are granted, while credits you buy individually never expire. A credit is spent only once your question is successfully answered and saved; it is not spent if the attempt fails.

9. Pricing and payment

A free report is available to everyone. Paid tiers ("Noble Edition", "Royal Edition", and "Imperial Edition") and the individual follow-up-question purchase are offered at the prices shown at checkout, in your selected currency. Prices may change at any time, but the price shown to you at the time of purchase applies to that purchase. A coupon you hold, if eligible, is applied automatically at checkout as a discount; you never need to type a promo code. Payment is processed by a third-party payment processor; we do not receive or store your card details. You are responsible for any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise at checkout.

10. Refunds and cancellation

A paid report, and a single follow-up-question purchase, are each a personalized digital product that is generated and delivered to you immediately after payment. For this reason, once delivered, the sale is generally final and non-refundable.

We will, however, provide a refund where:

• you were charged but nothing was delivered due to a technical failure on our side, or
• you were charged more than once for the same report or question, or
• you purchased a single follow-up question credit and have not yet used it: an unused credit has not yet been redeemed for delivered content, so you may contact us at any time for a full refund of that credit (question credits included with a plan have no cash value and are not refundable), or
• a refund is required by mandatory consumer-protection law that applies to you.

This is digital content, complete once delivered. Where you ask us to generate the report (or answer a follow-up question) immediately and consent to its immediate delivery, you acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, any statutory cooling-off or distance-selling cancellation right that would otherwise apply to the delivered digital content (for example Taiwan's 7-day right) no longer applies once it has been delivered. Nothing in these Terms removes any consumer right that cannot be waived under the law applicable to you. To request a refund, contact support@nebulamap.com.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the Service for unlawful purposes; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service; interfere with or disrupt the Service (including via excessive automated requests); scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content; resell or commercially redistribute reports; or reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying methods, prompts, or models of the Service except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law. We may apply rate limits and may suspend access we reasonably believe is abusive.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, text, chart computations, and the methodology behind the reports, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the report we generate for you for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the report will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the report giving rise to the claim (or, if you paid nothing, is limited to a nominal amount). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on a report. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you, and nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Governing law and language

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located in British Columbia have jurisdiction, except where mandatory law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are written in English. Any translation is provided for convenience only; in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between a translated version and the English version, the English version governs.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
