Our Story

Why did I build NebulaMap? It begins with my own story. If any part of it resonates with your life, then this letter was written for you.

I have spent the past 25 years in the tech industry, traveling constantly between Asia and the Americas for business. From the outside it looked like a good life. On the inside, it often felt like running just to stay in place.

In 2013, the pressure finally caught up with me, and I was diagnosed with anxiety. I kept asking myself the same question: why do I have to work this hard simply to survive in this world, just to take care of my family and our three children alongside my wife?

As my career grew, so did the assignments and the weight on my shoulders. In tech you hear about layoffs all the time. Technology evolves faster and faster, it gets harder to keep up with the latest thing, and there is a quiet fear of being replaced by AI and robots.

I worried about everything: my career, my health, our finances and investments, my aging parents, my children, and my relationships with my wife and my friends. It was a lot to carry.

Then one day I came across an ancient Chinese tool called Zi Wei Dou Shu (紫微斗數). I dove in to understand exactly what it was doing, and I was startled by how accurately it pointed to real, important events and turning points from my own past. I quickly became fascinated by the methodology. Over time I did something that felt natural to me: I took my experience from the tech world and combined it with this ancient system to build a tool of my own.

Some of my friends were going through the same kind of stress and anxiety in their own lives. They came to me, and I helped them using my system. Every one of them was surprised by the level of detail I could explain about their situation. More than that, they usually came away feeling more hopeful: clearer and more optimistic about their lives, their careers, and their children. Seeing them lighter and more at peace brought me a kind of satisfaction I hadn't felt in a long time. That is why I decided to turn it into a service, in the hope that it can benefit more people around the world.

I'll be honest with you: offering this service globally is a real financial burden for me, and the modern world comes with very different regulations in every country. So I've chosen to start with just a few countries I know well, and I'll gladly consider expanding to others if people genuinely find this valuable. I've also tried to support you in your local language as much as I can. Please bear with me if I can't always answer your questions perfectly in your own tongue.

There is one more thing I want to be clear about: I am not a lawyer, I am not a financial advisor, and I am not a medical doctor. All I hope to do is offer some guidance and a point of reference for you when you are unhappy, unsatisfied, feeling low, sad, worried, or anxious.

Thank you for being here. I hope NebulaMap brings a little light to your heart, and a little more warmth.
